Boss Wants High Standards

26 October 2015

Professional edge demanded from boss for Wealdstone tie.

Tony's side progressed past a Conference South outfit in Gosport at the same stage last year and he's hoping for the same level of professionalism to get through this year's First Round.

The U's were paired with the Conference South side in Monday's draw and will travel to Middlesex on the weekend of November 7th-8th.

U's boss Tony Humes is looking for his side to show their professionalism when they take on Wealdstone in the FA Cup in just under two weeks time.

"It's a tough draw against a non-league team away from home, and all expectation is on us to win the game," Tony told the official website.

"We have to go there with confidence to go and play, and have that belief that we are going to win it.

"We have to earn that right though and show our professionalism, the same as we did the same with the Gosport game last year." "We have to make sure we do the job right and get ourselves through to the next round."

We expect to have full details of the cup date, prices, allocation and sales procedure in the next few days. Stay tuned!
