Cardiff Beat U's U21s

19 October 2015

Goal in each half enough to defeat U's youngsters.

A young U's U21s side were beaten by their Cardiff City counterparts at Florence Park on Monday afternoon.

Without their older players who are likely to be on first team duty this week, plus Jamie Harney who was missing through injury, the U's U21s were beaten at home for the first time this season.

Cardiff came to town having enjoyed a productive start to the season themselves, and grabbed all three points with a goal in each half by Eli Phipps.

The Bluebirds' win will be enough for them to leapfrog the U's, and next up for John McGreal's men is a trip to London to take on Millwall next Tuesday.
