Could your organisation work with us in 2016?
Colchester United are now accepting applications for charities to become Official Charity Partners for the next twelve months.
The U's have, for the past five years, worked with charities to give them a wide ranging package of benefits.
Each charity that is chosen as Official Charity Partner will enjoy a proactive association with the county's leading football club over a twelve month period.
The package of benefits for the chosen partners are:-
- a charity collection at a first team fixture
- the use of the stadium's facilities for a community event/fundraiser (subject to meeting community event criteria)
- the use of an executive box at a first team fixture
- a signed ball
- a signed shirt
- advert in the club programme
- players at charity events

U's Media Manager Matt Hudson said: "We are looking forward to seeing which charities choose to apply for this year's official charity partnerships.
"In recent years, the selection process from the wide ranging applications has been a tough one, as a host of fantastic causes have all come forward to tell us about their great work in the local community.
"We have enjoyed working with the charities we have chosen in the past, and many have retained a link with the club for other activities after their partnership has finished."
Charities can apply by downloading the Charity Partner Application Form and filling in the relevant details.
The form can then either be e-mailed back to email@example.com
or sent in the post to Matt Hudson, Media Manager, Colchester United FC, Weston Homes Community Stadium, United Way, Colchester, Essex, CO4 5UP.
Deadline for applications is 5pm on November 20th, with partners due to be announced in December.
