Frankie and James help out at charity dinner.
Colchester United footballers Frankie Kent and James Bransgrove put in a star appearance at the Headway Essex 30th Anniversary Party at Playgolf, Colchester after the Gillingham game.
The special event was organised for clients, volunteers, staff, friends and supporters to celebrate the local charity’s 30 year anniversary of providing support for adults with acquired a brain injury and their families, in Essex.
After signing autographs for fans, Frankie and James helped with the auction, presenting the prizes to the winners of the auction lots and posing for photographs.
The evening gave the Chief Executive Joanna Wright a chance to express how proud she was of what Headway Essex had achieved from its humble roots as a support group meeting, run by volunteers in the old St Mary’s Hospital, Colchester in 1985 to an Essex wide charity supporting over 500 people a year.
After a delicious barbeque, guests were on the dancefloor to the great sounds from local SoulNation DJs Mik Wake and Rob Bateman.
Joanna Wright, Chief Executive said: "It was so lovely to see everyone having such a wonderful time and a fantastic way for everyone to take part in the celebrations to mark this wonderful occasion.
"We are so grateful to our sponsor and all our supporters, without who this event would not have been possible."
The event was sponsored by BTMK Injury solicitors.
