Shrub End facility to be improved.
Colchester United Football in the Community's 3G Astroturf pitch at their Shrub End facility will be closing from Monday 28th September through until Monday 23rd November, to allow the pitch to be resurfaced.
The new pitch will meet the FA's guidelines and enable it to be used for competition matches alongside its current usage. This will make the facility one of the most up to date and impressive surfaces in Essex.
All Football in the Community Term Time, Development Centre and Holiday Activities will be continuing throughout this period.
