U21s Go To Coventry

28 September 2015

O'Donoghue returns as U's look to extend recent run.

Colchester United's U21s will look to continue their recent excellent form when they take on Coventry City on Monday afternoon.

The U's also welcome back Charley Edge who has missed the last couple of games with injury, but they will be without Tosin Olufemi, who will be with the first team squad for their match against Bradford on Tuesday night.

And Marley Andrews is also likely to get his first match action of the new season after returning from a pre-season injury in the last couple of weeks.

The match will see Michael O'Donoghue travel up to the East Midlands as he edges closer to fitness after suffering a knee ligament at the end of 2014.

It will be a good test for the U's youngsters, with Coventry currently sitting second in the northern section after seven games.

John McGreal's side have won five of their first seven matches and are currently six unbeaten ahead of their match against the Sky Blues. Barnes, Robinson, Andrews, Tennent, James, Wilson, O'Donoghue, Pollard, Harrison, Regis, Lawrence, Wright, Brown, Curtis, Lapslie, Edge, McKeown
