FFD Community Officer Ben Elmer said: "It's a terrific way to advertise the week, all of our FFD schools attending a festival and meeting professional players is great."
As well as this, a member of the Colchester United first team squad will attend the day and take part in a Q & A session with the girls.
Colchester United's Football in the Community programme will be having Millwall Lionesses' defender Jordan Butler attending the day to offer advice and guidance to our young female players.
Seven local Secondary Schools will be attending a Female Football Development Matchday on Friday 29th April to celebrate FA Girls Week.
