Colchester United supporter Tommy Leggett will be the U's Community Hero at the club's Football in the Community Day on Saturday.
Tommy was recently awarded the League One Supporter of the Year award and will head to the Football League Awards on Sunday to see if he will pick up the overall Supporter of the Year title.
Ahead of that trip to Manchester, Tommy will be part of the club's FITC Day this weekend and has been chosen by the U's as the club's Community Hero for the game against Peterborough.
Tommy will take the matchball out to the referee before kick-off and he will be there with son Alfie, for whom he has raised thousands of pounds in the last year to help him have a better life.
