We need your votes for Player of the Year.
There are now just a handful of games remaining in the 2015/16 League One campaign.
There are bound to be many twists and turns still to come at both ends of the table as teams chase the holy grail of promotion at the top, whilst others try to ensure they preserve their divisional status at the other.
Since proceedings got underway in August last year, there have been several players who will have stated a claim to be in your thoughts when we come to vote for the 2015/16 Colchester United Player of the Year.
Whilst the season has been a tough one at times, fans will be able to reflect on several outstanding performances along the way.
But, as the clock ticks down to the final game of 2015/16 against Rochdale here at the Weston Homes Community Stadium, which players have caught your eye?
The season has again seen several players from the club's Academy establish themselves as first team players and the campaign will see us hit a new high in first team appearances from homegrown products.
Having contributed 122 appearances last season, U's Academy products broke through the 150 appearance mark with the win over Doncaster Rovers – a match which saw Alex Gilbey grab his third goal in three U's matches.
Ahead of this year'’s Player of the Year dinner on May 13th, we are asking Colchester United supporters to cast their vote on three awards.
Official Player of the Year
This is the big one and some illustrious names have picked up the award in its 60 year history so far. But which of the first team squad will get your vote for 2015/16?
Young Player of the Year
A number of the U’s younger players have made a big impression on the first team squad this season. This category is for players aged 21 or under at the start of the season, so which star of the future gets the nod from you?
Goal of the Year
There have been some cracking strikes this season, with a number of them coming in the U’s recent matches! But which of the goals scored to date deserves your vote?
