Jack Goes To Needham

15 August 2016

Midfielder scores on Market debut.

Colchester United's young midfielder Jack Curtis has headed out on loan to Needham Market - and made an instant impression with the Ryman Premier League club.

Jack will be with the Suffolk side for a month and made his Needham bow on Saturday in their game against Burgess Hill Town.

And he notched after just ten minutes of his home debut, getting on the end of a Luke Ingram pass to calmly slot home.

Needham held that lead until the 84th minute, when Tyrell Richardson-Brown put his shot into the bottom corner.

Meanwhile, JJ Wilson helped Maldon & Tiptree to victory in their first game of the season, as they overcame Brightlingsea Regent 2-1 on Saturday afternoon.

Next up for Needham is a trip to Lowestoft Town.
