Roman Deal Extended

23 December 2016

Roman Cars & Coaches sign up again.

Colchester United are pleased to announce that they will be continuing to work with local travel company Roman Cars & Coaches for a further two years, extending an already successful partnership between the two businesses.

Roman Cars & Coaches, who also sponsor the North Stand at the Weston Homes Community Stadium, have extended the back of shirt sponsorship for an additional two seasons, showing fantastic belief and commitment in the team and the set-up at Colchester United.
As of next season, Roman Cars will be on the back of the home shirts and Roman Coaches on the back of the away shirts.

Karen Moss from Roman Cars & Coaches said: "As big supporters as well as fans of the club, we are happy to be continuing our sponsorship agreement and look forward to exciting times ahead both on and off the pitch."

The Colchester based company have also helped supporters of all ages travel to follow their team in good numbers this season with their Roman Army away travel priced at just £12 – the same cost wherever the team goes!

Season Ticket Holders are given an even better deal, with travel at £10 and, with the team coach, two supporter coaches and a sixteen seater travelling to Luton on Boxing Day to support the U’s, the Roman Army are certainly on board.
Michelle Tricker, Head of Sales at Colchester United, said: "We are delighted to announce this continued partnership with Roman Cars and Coaches. Over the years, we have developed a fantastic partnership and welcome the opportunity to further grow the relationship and continue to work together to promote the away travel.

"We will also be looking at other matchday fan interaction with plenty of ideas already in the pipeline."
