Southend By Train?

Important travel details for fans going to Roots Hall.

These football buses will run from Chelmsford train station at 12.54, 13.16 and 13.30.

To assist travelling supporters to get to Roots Hall in good time for kick-off, Abellio Greater Anglia have laid on additional football special coach transfers to take U's fans from Chelmsford to Wickford, where they can then get to Prittlewell, near to Southend's stadium.

When the U's head to the south of the county, there are scheduled to be railworks on the main Norwich to London line.

Colchester United travel to Southend United on February 6th, as they look forward to the return fixture in this season's Essex derbies.

To pick these up, you'd need to leave: 

- Norwich at 11.30 or 12.00 
- Ipswich at 12.08 or 12.41 
- Harwich at 12.28 
- Manningtree at 12.19 or 12.53 
- Clacton at 12.13 
- Colchester at 12.28, 12.41 or 13.02 


To pick up the return buses, passengers would need to be on the 17.10 or 17.30 from Southend.
