A Safe & Welcoming Experience

27 July 2016

Making it a day to remember on your visit.

As the Football League Family Club of the Year for 2015, Colchester United’s staff and stewards are well versed in providing a welcoming experience for fans of all ages and backgrounds.

We are conscious that for individuals or families with a disability, there are different challenges in visiting venues such as sports stadia and we are keen to ensure that your visit is as trouble free and as memorable as possible.

Colchester United's staff have undertaken training in Autism awareness and we became the first professional football club to sign the Autism Charter in the summer of 2015.

During the course of the 2015/16 season, members of our matchday staff will be undertaking sign language training, as well as exploring other avenues to ensure our front line staff can provide you with the experience you're looking for.

Our stewards are all first aid trained and we have an on-site crowd doctor at every home match.

But, most importantly of all, we believe we provide a great welcome and a safe environment to ensure you enjoy your visit to Colchester United – and hopefully return to visit us again in the future!
