Local charity looks for U's fans' support.
Do you live in or visit Suffolk regularly? Could you make a new friend and help change someone's life? Could you bring a vulnerable person to the match with you?
The Befriending Scheme are recruiting One-To-One Befrienders for vulnerable people over the age of 16.
You might share a love of football, movies, or simply enjoy a coffee together. Your new friend may be rurally isolated, have a learning disability or be elderly, and this may prevent them enjoying social opportunities.

We will carefully match you with the right person and support you as your friendship develops. Qualifying out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed.
We'd be keen to hear from Colchester United fans who would be interested in helping vulnerable people to attend games at the Weston Homes Community Stadium this season so that they can also experience the great atmosphere.
