Colchester United are delighted to welcome forward Kurtis Guthrie to the club for an undisclosed fee.
Kurtis joins us from the Conference National side on a two year contract, after putting pen to paper on Tuesday afternoon.
Kurtis enjoyed a productive season with Forest Green in 2015/16, as they just missed out on automatic promotion to the Football League before losing in the play-offs.
The 23-year-old scored 12 goals last season, playing both through the middle and out wide.
His form saw him selected for England C in March, as he scored against Ukraine.
The Jersey born forward started out with Accrington Stanley, before progressing well in non-league over the last few years.
His move will be completed subject to paperwork clearance from the relevant authorities.
He will join up with his teammates today to prepare for this weekend's opening friendly against Maldon & Tiptree.
