U18s move into Wayne Brown's development squad.
Four of Colchester United's U18s have been awarded development contracts ahead of the new season.
All of the quartet have penned one year deals to move into the U21s for the 2016/17 campaign and will join Wayne Brown and Kevin Horlock's side for pre-season training.
The four players who have stepped up are:-
JJ Wilson: Left back who likes to maraud forwards down that side of the pitch, whilst also looking after his defensive responsibilities
Diaz Wright: Powerful midfielder who has the eye for a pass and will be hoping to follow brother Drey into the U's first team
George Brown: Tricky winger who can operate down either flank and has the knack of scoring goals as well as setting them up for others
Decarrey Sheriff: Front man whose work rate ensures he keeps opposing defenders busy. A regular scorer for the U18s
All four have already experienced U21s football last season and will be looking to be regulars in the starting eleven this season. We wish them well!
