FA Cup finalists to visit WHCS
The U's will take on Crystal Palace in a pre-season friendly.Palace will visit the Weston Homes Community Stadium on July 25th, less than three weeks before they begin their Premier League campaign.
It will be the first time that the Eagles have visited north Essex since November 2007, when a double from a certain Clinton Morrison gave Palace a 2-1 victory in the Championship.
The game against Alan Pardew's FA Cup finalists will kick-off at 7pm and ticket details will be announced in due course.
It is the second home game for the U's as John McGreal and the squad prepare for the new season, with our Suffolk neighbours Ipswich Town visiting five days earlier, on July 20th.
