Colchester United winger Dion Sembie-Ferris will spend the rest of the season away from the club, after joining Margate on loan.

Since breaking through to the first team, the wide man has made 21 appearances for the U's, starting three times.

However, he has yet to make an appearance in the senior side under the management of Kevin Keen and, after some recent positive performances for the U21s, will now join the National League South side until the end of the season.

The Kent side currently sit in midtable, and count former U's Chris Lewington and Freddie Ladapo among their players.

Dion will start his time with Margate away to Wealdstone, where he will come up against current U's keeper James Bransgrove.
