Colchester United's Weston Homes Community Stadium provided the backdrop to another successful Colchester Half Marathon on Sunday.
With this year's London Marathon looming on the horizon, the Colchester Half provided ideal preparation for those runners bracing themselves for the 26 mile race in the capital.
2,600 runners - assisted by around 350 volunteers - started and finished their half marathon at the Weston Homes Community Stadium as the U's home venue again played its part in supporting the event.
