Former striker joins City as assistant boss.
Colchester United legend Chris Iwelumo has taken his first steps into senior management, having been appointed assistant boss at Chester City.
Chris, who scored 37 goals in two seasons with the U's, will be assisting Jon McCarthy as they look to close the gap on the top five in the Conference.
City currently sit ten points off the play-off spots.
