Colchester United have recalled George Elokobi from his loan spell with Braintree Town.
George originally joined the Conference side at the start of October to get some first team football under his belt.
That loan spell was extended a month later, and the 30-year-old went on to play seven times for the Iron, scoring twice - both in the FA Cup win over Eastbourne.
However, he has now been recalled by the U's and is straight into the squad for Tuesday night's game against Cheltenham.
