Guthrie issues message to fans.
U's forward Kurtis Guthrie wants to give the following message to the club's supporters.
"Whilst I stand by everything else that I said after what was another disappointing and frustrating defeat for us, I was totally wrong to say that the fans haven’t backed us this season.
"Following my comments to the media after the game at Yeovil, I would like to say sorry for questioning the backing that fans have given us.

"This incident has also taught me that our supporters hurt every bit as much as we do when a game like Saturday’s goes against us.
"We will continue to work extremely hard to do that and of course, we do need your support and we really do appreciate your support.
"I said it on Saturday, and I’ll say it again, we as the players have been responsible for the poor run we are on and we are the ones who have got to get our club out of it.
"I want to put it right and as I said in the interview on Saturday, I can only put things right by performing as well as I can and helping the team to win as many games as possible."
