Manchester City come to town in early November.
The date for Colchester United's U23s game against Manchester City U23s has now been confirmed.
The U's were drawn against City as well as Hull City and Derby County in this year's Premier League Cup competition.
They will play each of the sides home and away and Wayne Brown's men got the group stages underway with a 1-0 win away at Hull City.
The match against Manchester City will take place at the Weston Homes Community Stadium in a 12pm kick-off on Sunday November 6th, the day after the first team play Chesterfield in the Emirates FA Cup.
