A busy start to community trip.

Colchester United Football in the Community's trip to Kenya has got off to a positive start, with plenty happening already in their first two days.

A group of twelve headed out to Kenya on Friday morning, leaving from Heathrow to fly to Nairobi.

A night in a hotel allowed the group to recover from the flight and prepare for a trip to their base in Nakuru on Saturday.

Upon arrival in Nakuru, the group headed up to 8,000 feet to take a look over the Rift Valley before returning to get a taste of England with the Manchester United v West Brom game live on TV!

Sunday started with a morning walk to the Lake Nakuru National Park and then to the outskirts of Nakuru town.

The group then visited the Kivu suburb of Nakuru, taking in the church services taking place, before going to the Menengai Crater.
