Three of Colchester United's younger players have joined Maldon & Tiptree to gain experience of men's football.
The trio will help Kevin Horlock's side push for promotion in the Bostik League North this season.
First up is 18-year-old centre half Josh Pollard, who spent time with Maldon last season as they contested promotion with Brightlingsea.
He's joined by 17-year-old right back George Keys. George played ninety minutes for the Jammers last week as they won 1-0 on the opening day at Ware.
And completing the three is left winger Ryan Clampin, who broke through to the U's U23s last season.
Josh has joined on a youth loan and George and Ryan on work experience, meaning all three can still play for the U's whilst at Maldon.
