Colchester United's U23s will begin their new league season at home to Birmingham City.
The match against the Blues is the first of 29 league fixtures for Wayne Brown's men, who will also enter the Premier League Cup against this season.
Birmingham come to the Weston Homes Community Stadium on Monday 14th August in a 7.00pm kick-off and the U's will then travel to Barnsley at the end of that week.
The matches against Ipswich Town take place on Monday 30th October (A) and Monday 5th February (H).
