Colchester United have made another signing on deadline day, by adding attacker Sanmi Odelusi to their ranks ahead of this weekend's trip to Cambridge United.
The 24-year-old started his career as a trainee with Bolton Wanderers and, during his time with the Lancashire club, enjoyed loan spells with MK Dons and Coventry City.
Upon leaving Bolton in the summer of 2015, he linked up with Wigan Athletic and, in the 2016/17 season, again headed out on loan.
He spent the first half of the season with Rochdale, playing nineteen times and then, after returning to Wigan, he went back out to Blackpool, playing eight times as they earned promotion from League Two.
Having recently been training with the U's, Sanmi has initially signed until January 2018.
