Murray Misses Out

10 February 2017

But young trio included for Barnet clash

As well as the Barnet game, the former Watford youngster will miss the U's fixtures against Crawley Town and Accrington Stanley.

He came on as a second half substitute at Bloomfield Road but caught Jim McAlister in injury time and received his marching orders.

A red card on his debut at Blackpool saw a three match ban for the U's new signing, starting with the weekend game against Barnet.

The U's will be without Sean Murray on Saturday.

Three of the U's own youngsters have been added to the squad, following excellent performances in recent U23s matches.

Cameron James, Diaz Wright and Charley Edge will be hoping to be involved against the Bees, as the U's look to close the gap to the Play-Off positions.

There is also a place in the squad for new loanee Rekeil Pyke, who like the trio mentioned, impressed in the 1-1 draw in the U23s game against Coventry City.
