Colchester United defender Matt Briggs will continue his comeback on Thursday night, when Manchester City U23s come to town in the Premier League Cup.
Matt has made good progress in his return to action after a hip operation earlier in the season and will be back at the Weston Homes Community Stadium for the first time in the match against City.
It's a strong U23s group ready to take on their Premier League opponents, with the U's currently sitting in second place in the table.
