U's to host free CPD event before Manchester City game.
Colchester United will be hosting a special CPD event for grassroots coaches ahead of the upcoming Premier League Cup game against Manchester City U23s.
The U's U23s take on their Premier League opponents in their third group game of this year's competition and, prior to the match, coaches will be able to participate in the CPD session.
Starting at 5.45pm, U's Academy Manager Jon De Souza will be giving the lowdown and answering questions on how the club's Academy is run and its aims for the future.
Jon will also give some insight as to how the club's coaches and young players have prepared for the match against City.
Clubs are able to apply for a maximum of two free tickets to this event, which also includes admission to the match, which kicks off at 7pm.
