Midfielder leaves in search of regular football.
Colchester United midfielder Chris Regis has departed the club in search of regular first team football.
Chris joined the U's in August 2015, having been released from Southampton's Academy.
He has been a regular in the U's U23s in the time since then, and signed a new one year contract in the summer of 2016 to extend his stay in north Essex.
However, the 20-year-old will now leave the Weston Homes Community Stadium club to get regular senior football under his belt.
