Midfielder joins from Cardiff.
Colchester United are pleased to welcome midfielder Tommy O'Sullivan to the club ahead of this weekend's trip to Exeter City.
Tommy joins us after leaving Cardiff City and signs a contract through to the summer of 2018.
The 22-year-old progressed through the Academy ranks at City and made his debut for the Bluebirds back in the 2012/13 season in the League Cup.
In the 2014/15 season, Tommy spent time on loan with Port Vale in League One, playing five times for the Valiants.
The next season, he spent two stints on loan with Newport County in League Two, playing 20 times and scoring once.
5'11" tall Tommy has also represented Wales at U17s, U19s and U21s level and was chosen as Welsh Young Player of the Year in October 2015.
He joins fellow former Cardiff teammate Eli Phipps in joining the U's in the January transfer window.
