U's Go To Bristol

30 January 2017

U23s in action in the West Country.

Colchester United U23s are back in league action on Monday afternoon, as they look to continue their recent positive form.

Wayne Brown's youngsters have won four of their last five games, with the only defeat coming in the quarter finals of the Essex Senior Cup.

On the back of their victory over Manchester City in the Premier League Cup, they will now travel to Bristol City on Monday afternoon, looking to further close the gap on the teams above them.

Recent signing Eli Phipps - who scored in the Central League Cup win over Southend - will travel west to face a City side who sit one place and six points behind the U's in the table.
