Colchester United take on Braintree Town in their latest pre-season friendly this weekend.
John McGreal and the squad will travel to the IronmongeryDirect Stadium, Cressing Road on Saturday, with just two weeks to go until the league season begins.
The U's will be without a number of players who have already missed the pre-season games so far, but will be taking on the non-leaguers with a similar squad to the one that beat West Ham 2-0 on Tuesday evening.
There was good news on the injury front, with new signing Ryan Jackson recovering from a slight thigh problem sustained prior to the West Ham fixture.
Fellow new boy Cole Kpekawa is also included in the travelling party, and will be looking to make his first appearance since signing from Barnsley on Monday.
