Colchester United are delighted to welcome back Cole Kpekawa to the club as the U's latest permanent summer signing.
Cole returns to the club nearly three years after his original stint at the Weston Homes Community Stadium, after leaving Championship side Barnsley.
His loan spell with the U's in November 2014 was his first time away from parent club Queens Park Rangers and he played six times in his two month spell in north Essex.
He was again out on loan in 2015/16 with Leyton Orient and, after returning to Rangers later that season, he was snapped up by Barnsley in the summer of 2016.
He signed a three year deal with the newly promoted Tykes, and made seven appearances for their senior side.
He will now look to make his mark at the Weston Homes Community Stadium, having found his new home at Colchester United.
