6 June 2017

Apologies, this video is unvailable.

U's striker Denny Johnstone is on the road to recovery after injury

Back in February, Johnstone fell awkwardly at Accrington and had to be helped off and replaced by Chris Porter.

A scan revealed a serious tear in his knee and the season was over for him.

He has been working hard on his rehabilitation programme since going under the knife, and spoke this week of being ready to ramp up his fitness ahead of returning for pre-season training.

The U's squad return at the end of June, and Denny is sure he will be fully involved as they build up to the 2017/18 campaign.

Denny was one of the first players to speak on iFollow ColU, the brand new video channel for Colchester United - you can watch is interview by clicking the picture above.

You can see all the interviews, as well as catching full match commentary on all U's matches, on iFollow.

Overseas subscribers can even watch the U's live via iFollow.
