The U's Carabao Cup First Round tie against Aston Villa will be live on TV.
The tie against the former European Cup winners will be screened live on Sky Sports, and will be played on Wednesday 9th August.
Last Friday's draw saw the U's drawn out as the home side and it has been confirmed today that the game has been chosen for live coverage.
The game will kick-off at 7.45pm here at the Weston Homes Community stadium, with John McGreal and his side hoping to progress with a win over their Championship opponents.
