Vincent-Young Remains At U's

Defender stays for another year

29 June 2017

Colchester United have extended Kane Vincent-Young's stay by another twelve months

With the players back from summer holidays, there has been a flurry of activity surrounding contracts of the U's players.

The likes of Drey Wright and Lewis Kinsella have extended their time at the Weston Homes Community Stadium, and they have been followed by full back Vincent-Young.

The club had the option of another year in Kane's current contract, which ends on June 30th, and they have taken up that option.

It means that the highly rated twenty one year old, who joined the U's in the summer of 2014 and quickly established himself in the U23s side, will be in north essex for at least another season.

Impressive performances saw him given his first team debut on the opening day of the 2015/6 and he has made thirty nine appearances in the past two seasons.
