Loan stint for U's forward.
Colchester United forward Femi Akinwande is heading out on loan, this time to join Vanarama South side East Thurrock United.
Femi has recently enjoyed a productive spell with Maldon & Tiptree and also scored in the recent Premier League Cup win over Hull City.
We wish Femi well with his latest loan stint.
He will now join Essex Senior Cup finalists East Thurrock for a month and is straight into their squad for Saturday's game against Ebbsfleet United.
