Colchester United's Walking Football provides a great opportunity for over 50s to enjoy their favourite sport and make new friends along the way.
Running and slide tackling are both banned in the activity, and is a a great way to boost your fitness.
Colchester United Walking Football co-ordinator Ben Elmer said: "The aim is to get more people participating, making new friends and using our facilities.
"The format is half an hour of basic structured skills and the next session is a game.
"The structure is similar to a normal session but the tempo is obviously not quite as fast.
"Tactics are important as is recovery. We want people to have fun in an environment where they're meeting new people and taking part in a physical activity."
