After two cup fixtures, the U's return to league action on Saturday afternoon with the short trip to Barnet.
John McGreal's men have been in good form in recent weeks in League Two, rising up the table on the back of four wins and a draw in their last six fixtures.
That sequence of results saw John McGreal and Mikael Mandron shortlisted for the monthly divisional awards ahead of the trip to north London, with the Frenchman scoring four times in five games in October.
As a result, the top half of the table is now within reach and the U's could climb as high as ninth with a win at The Hive on Saturday.
