The U's take on Coventry City this weekend, hoping to build on the away victory at Newport County on Tuesday evening.
John McGreal's side beat Newport 2-1 at Rodney Parade in a tight game, and are expecting another tough encounter at the Ricoh Arena.
The Sky Blues have started the season well, and currently sit just one point and one place outside the Play-Off positions.
Boss McGreal will again be without long term absentees Luke Prosser and Brennan Dickenson, as well as attackers Sammie Szmodics and Kurtis Guthrie.
He is hopeful that players who took knocks on Tuesday night will recover in time though, and warned that the U's will have to put in another decent away performance to gain a second victory on the road in four days.
"Of course it's going to be a tough one, they are chasing the same thing we are, a place in the top seven."
"We showed on Tuesday that we can come through tough battles on our travels and we need to do that again on Saturday.
"And in those battles, players pick up knocks, bumps and bruises. Hopefully, the ones we suffered will have recovered in time and will be ready to go again."
