Young Colchester United defender Ollie Kensdale has joined Maldon & Tiptree on loan.
18-year-old Ollie joined the Jammers ahead of their weekend game against Tilbury at Park Drive.
And he helped them to an impressive 4-2 win, which lifted them up to ninth in the Bostik North table.
Ollie joined the U’s Development Centres aged seven and, two years later, progressed into the club’s Academy.
The former St Benedicts School pupil was a regular in the U18s last season and also played for the U23s in the latter part of the campaign.
He will now get his first experience of mens' football with Kevin Horlock's side.
