Colchester United front man Eoin McKeown continued his rich vein of form on Monday afternoon, as he notched the only goal in a 1-0 win against Huddersfield Town.
Eoin, who had scored in the Checkatrade Trophy against Reading and then again in the defeat to Nottingham Forest last week, grabbed the goal that made the difference at the Canalside training ground.
He struck the ball across the goalkeeper and into the bottom corner in the first half and, despite the Terriers having a series of chances in the second half, keeper Daniel Wilks kept them at bay.
That was the third clean sheet of the season for Wayne Brown's men, who have picked up eleven points in their six league games so far, despite the fact that a number of the older players in the U23s group are currently out on loan.
Next up, it's Millwall at the Weston Homes Community Stadium, with the match expected to see the return to action of Kurtis Guthrie.
