Colchester United brought a credible point back from Yorkshire on Monday night, as they drew 0-0 with Leeds at Elland Road.
A young U's side made the trip north and, after an even first half, where both sides traded chances, it was the U's who had the better of the second forty five minutes.
It was the home keeper Will Huffer who was the busier of the two shot stoppers, repelling efforts from Tarryn Allarakhi and Eoin McKeown as the U's sought to break the deadlock.
But, in the end, they had to be happy with the point, which extended their unbeaten run at the start of the season, with Nottingham Forest the next to visit Florence Park.
