Boots2Africa Return On Saturday

Got any old boots or kit? Bring them along for the Port Vale game!

9 August 2018

Our friends from Boots2Africa will be back at the JobServe Community Stadium this Saturday for the match against Port Vale.

More than 6,000 pairs of football boots and trainers, along with nearly 10,000 items of kit have now been donated and are either already in Africa, or are already well on their way!

Earlier this year, Boots2Africa donated 85 pairs to Chigoli, the Academy that Colchester United Football in the Community’s Corin Haines visited in Malawi a while back. Two weeks ago, three of their lads made their debut at National U17s level wearing donated boots: all 3 scored on debut and they won 5-0 in the confederation of southern African Nations Cup!

So, if you have any old boots, trainers or Col U kit you would like to donate, keep your eyes open for the Boots2Africa team outside of the stadium on Saturday.
