Offers Made To Young U's

Contracts tabled for promising players

21 December 2018

Four of Colchester United's promising young players have had contract offers made ahead of the Christmas fixtures.

First up are two of the U's U18s, both of whom have been regulars in the U23s throughout their two year scholarship.

Central midfielder Noah Chilvers and winger Ollie Sims have also sampled a first team away day as members of the senior squad, and both have been offered their first two year contracts to commence in the summer.

Two further players, both of whom have made their first team debuts this season, have also been offered new two year deals.

Ryan Clampin, who featured against Southampton in the Checkatrade Trophy and Ollie Kensdale, who made his debut against Cambridge in the same competition before also playing against Exeter City and Carlisle United in the league, have both been offered new contracts.

We'll have more on this news when the paperwork has been signed and completed.
