Colchester United forward Sammie Szmodics has been shortlisted for November's Sky Bet League Two Goal of the Month award.
The U's joint top scorer, who was also nominated for November's Player of the Month award, has been shortlisted for his fine strike against Exeter.
Also nominated this month are:-
Danny Grainger – CARLISLE UNITED v Newport County – 3rd November
A captain's way to claim three points for his side. Grainger had no right to be so far forward in injury time, but he adjusted his feet adroitly to lash home a finely judged angled winner.
George Maris – Oldham Athletic v CAMBRIDGE UNITED – 17th November
Deliberately hovering in a pocket of space, Maris collected a diagonal pass with glee, taking one stride forward before unleashing an arcing piledriver from distance into the top corner.
Sammie Szmodics – COLCHESTER UNITED v Exeter City – 24th November
The wonder of this beauty was the technique Szmodics used to whip his foot around the ball, keeping it low and arrowing towards the bottom corner without a moment’s hesitation.
Voting for this month's award can be found on www.skysports.com, with the winner announced on Friday 21st December.
The winners of the Sky Bet EFL Goals of the Month are chosen by a fan poll on skysports.com.
The shortlist for the poll is decided by a judging panel following suggestions from supporters via Twitter.
