Colchester United defender Cameron James has joined Chelmsford City on a youth loan until the end of the season.
Cameron, who turns 20 in early February, made his first team debut at the end of the 2015/16 season, before becoming a regular in John McGreal's squad in the second half of the 2016/17 campaign.
He has made a further 11 appearances so far in the current season, although has found his first team opportunities more limited in recent months.
Cameron will now join the Clarets as they push for promotion to the National League.
Having reached the Essex Senior Cup final earlier this week, Rod Stringer's side sit just a point outside of the play-off spots with fifteen games to go.
We wish Cameron well with his time at Melbourne Stadium.
