Craig Slater played ninety minutes on Saturday, as Dundee United bounced back from their 6-1 defeat against Falkirk with a 0-0 draw at Dunfermline.

The result leaves the Terrors eight points off St Mirren in top spot ahead of a trip to Alloa in the Scottish Cup this weekend.

Meanwhile, Denny Johnstone’s St Johnstone return to action this weekend and they take on Albion Rovers, also in Scottish Cup action.

Tommy O’Sullivan completed ninety minutes at the weekend, but was unable to help his Torquay United side to a positive result, as they lost late on, 2-1 to Eastleigh at Plainmoor.

Lewis Kinsella’s Aldershot did not have a game on Saturday, but host Ebbsfleet at home on Saturday, as they look to further close the gap on leaders Macclesfield.

Back in Essex, George Keys was brought on as a substitute in the dying moments of the game as Brightlingsea Regent picked up a 3-0 win over Worthing to cement their position in the middle of the Bostik Premier table.

Meanwhile, there was a defeat for Maldon & Tiptree as they fell to a surprise home reverse to Romford but neither Josh Pollard or Eoin McKeown were involved in the 2-1 loss at Park Drive.

Dean Ager was also missing from Bishop Stortford’s home defeat to Banbury, as the absence of a number of senior players proved costly for Kevin Watson’s side and Reuben Mudd was not involved as Stanway ran out 4-1 winners against Ipswich Wanderers.
